CCAA National Conference 2012 - Adelaide

Friday to Sunday, 7-9 September 2012

The CCAA(SA) committee are very excited to be hosting the CCAA National Conference for 2012.  It is nine years since we hosted and back then I was on the committee, but doing a lot of the 'fetch and do' type jobs. Dominie Nelson was also on the original committee. It was quite exciting, although it was a difficult time as my youngest brother passed away during that conference. Many things have happened in those nine years and now I am President in SA and Dominie is Vice-President with both of us working alongside a great team to give you, what we hope to be an enjoyable and rewarding conference. We invite you to 'save the date' and join us.

We are delighted to announce that six keynote speakers have accepted invitations to present. The next step is the calling for abstracts from those wishing to present workshops at the Conference. We invite you to download the relevant from our website, should you be considering presenting a workshop that's relevant to our theme. The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 7th 2012.

Special Note:

We are also looking at the possibility of running Part A (2 days) of a supervision course on the Monday and Tuesday of the conference. Part B would be organised to be held in approximately 6 months to meet PACFA standards. If you would like to register interest to do this course - please email - sa@ccaa.net.au We will require a certain number of participants to make it viable. Donna Longden will be coordinating the program, which will meet the new Supervision training standards that come into effect as of January 2012.
