Intimacy in a relationship means being able to share a spectrum of thoughts, feelings and experiences. Difficulties in achieving intimacy can result from lack of communication, financial difficulty, family pressure, bad childhood experiences and other traumas. This is a vital, yet often hard to deal with topic. Come along and find out more about ways of helping the people that will come to us to seek help with their relationships.

Steve Moorhead
Steve is currently involved in family relationship counselling with Relationships
Australia. He is a member of the Family Violence Prevention Team and facilitates a
Men’s Behaviour Change Program. In the area of family violence, Steve has experience in counselling individuals, families, couples and children.
Over many years of involvement in the field of social work, both in Australia and
overseas, Steve has developed expertise in dealing with sexual abuse and family
violence issues. Steve has been a team leader in a number of centres, and has
experience in the field work education of social work students in Melbourne. Steve
comes with over 20 years counselling experience.
